Payment Options

Our fees are set at a level to allow us to provide you with top quality preventive, restorative and emergency care, out with the time restrictions and limitations of the NHS.

We moved our practice largely away from the NHS back in 2003 as we believe with the best will in the world, it is very difficult to provide a sufficiently good level of preventative and restorative care while at the same time working under the NHS fee scale in which dentistry continues to be significantly underfunded.

Fee paying adults have the choice of paying on a fee per item basis, or one of our Denplan monthly budgeting schemes.

We routinely use the most up to date techniques and materials available for our Denplan and private patients.

This allows us to provide you with top quality preventive, restorative and emergency care at all times, out with the time restrictions and limitations of the NHS.

However we still do see a proportion of NHS patients and are happy to see new patients on the NHS in the following two categories:

  1. Children of new Private or Denplan patients up to 18 years of age.
  2. Patients who are exempt from dental charges.

We have the following payment options available:

  1. Payment on a fee per item basis
  2. Denplan Essentials. This is our basic maintenance plan. It covers you for two examinations and scale and polish visits annually and routine x –ray films, for a fixed monthly payment. It entitles you to a 10% discount on all private treatment options in the practice including dental implants
  3. Denplan Care. This covers you for all your routine maintenance needs for a fixed monthly payment (excluding lab fees). It entitles you to a 10% discount on all other private treatment options in the practice including dental implants.
